Library

Genuine literacy means fluency not only in reading, but in writing as well. The library experience for Discovery Center students is designed to excite explorations in reading and generate skills in expository writing. The library, featuring 7,000 volumes, is open five days a week for drop-in book search, check-out, and reference use. Yet this passive aspect of the library is but the foundation for its active literacy program.
