Computers
The Discovery Center School has a commercial speed DSL connection to the Internet which is accessible from all classrooms and the library via both a wireless and wired 100-Base-T network. CD-ROM equipped iMac technology is included in the classroom and library as well as in our computer lab. The lab is also equipped with thirteen new iMacs, a laser jet printer, and video moviemaking technology. Students have full access to Internet information from sources around the world. All of the school's computers and resources are available for student use during the school day. To support the teaching staff, a full-time educational technology resource specialist is available, and regularly scheduled professional development workshops are offered to teaching staff.
